1. Who is responsible

This website and the Al-Berto & the Fried Bikinis newsletter are operated by Albert Wuersch, Engelberg, Switzerland — contact: al-berto@al-berto.ch.

The band itself has no separate legal form, so the person named above is the controller for all personal data collected here.

2. What we collect and why

Newsletter. When you sign up, we collect your email address. You may optionally provide your name so we can address you personally. We use this data for one purpose only: to send you our newsletter with news about gigs, recordings and videos.

When you register, our newsletter tool also records the date and the IP address of the confirmation. This is how we document that you genuinely opted in.

Newsletter sign-up form. The sign-up form in the footer is embedded from our newsletter provider (statslive.info / Infomaniak). Loading this form establishes a connection to that server, which receives your IP address as part of the standard request. We use this only to display the form and to process your subscription.

Contact. If you write to us by email, we store your message and your address in order to reply.

3. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; Art. 31 FADP). You can withdraw this consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing that took place before.

4. Our hosting and newsletter provider

This website is hosted by Infomaniak (Geneva, Switzerland). The newsletter and its sign-up form are provided through Infomaniak's newsletter tool, served from the domain statslive.info. Your email address, your optional name, and the opt-in record are stored there. Data is processed in Switzerland. Infomaniak acts as our processor and does not use your data for its own purposes.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe. Each newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe, we delete your address, except where we are required to retain a record of your consent as proof.

6. Your rights

You may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and a copy of your data in a portable format. You may also object to processing at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, write to al-berto@al-berto.ch. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority: in Switzerland to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or in the EU to the data protection authority of your country.

7. Security

The connection to this website is encrypted. Access to the newsletter tool is protected by a password and two-factor authentication.

8. Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will mention it in the newsletter.
